Ignacio earned his architecture degree in Santiago, Chile in 2010. Prior to joining Foster + Partners in 2014, he worked on high-end residential, industrial and educational projects. Since then, he has taken a leading role in the studio’s global residential portfolio, focusing on complex, design-led developments. His work includes private residences in Bodrum and Los Angeles, as well as major high-rise projects such as Oceanwide Center, One Beverly Hills, and lately a hotel and residential redevelopment in Miami. Ignacio has also led on large-scale mixed-use projects, including a 40-storey tower in Buenos Aires, a 1,000-hectare sustainable masterplan in Maratue, Chile, and the transformative Television City in Los Angeles. Ignacio brings technical precision and strong design sensibility to projects that thoughtfully respond to their context and client ambition.
