Roger joined Foster + Partners in 2011 to set up the Structural Engineering team based on technical excellence with an emphasis on the design of complex or tall structures. He gained his degree in structural engineering from Cambridge University and began his professional career in Paris. He then became a director at Arup London, where he ran a multidisciplinary engineering group. Roger is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College and has won the IABSE Milne Medal 2017 and the Royal Academy of Engineering 2010 Silver Medal.
